Demanding an increase in NET fellowship grant as well as roll back in the increased amount of application fees, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Delhi unit protested in front of the University Grants Commission on Monday.
“The UGC should immediately announce a hike in non-NET fellowship and other agencies should also follow suite. Also, the application fee for NET exam which has been increased from Rs. 400 to Rs. 1, 000 should be rolled back in the interest of students from all financial backgrounds,” said ABVP Delhi state secretary Saket Bahuguna.
