शोधार्थियों के शोधप्रबंध जमा करने की समय वृद्धि का निर्णय स्वागतयोग्य
शोधार्थियों के हित उठाई गई अभाविप की माँग पर UGC द्वारा अंतिम वर्ष के शोधार्थियों को कोरोना काल में उत्पन्न हुई विशेष परिस्थिति के कारण शोध प्रबंध जमा करने के लिए 6 महीने का अतिरिक्त समय दिए जाने का निर्णय स्वागत योग्य है। अभाविप ने फरवरी माह में UGC को पत्र लिख कर अवधि को 1 वर्ष बढ़ाने की माँग की थी। जिसपर UGC ने 6 माह की अवधि बढाई थी। बढ़ी हुई अवधि के समाप्त होने से पहले की अभाविप ने सभी विश्वविद्यालयों के कुलपति के माध्यम से UGC से छात्रों को पुनः 6 माह देने की माँग की थी। जिसके परिणाम स्वरूप UGC ने छात्रों के हित में निर्णय लिया है।
UGC ने समयसीमा में वृद्धि करते हुए शोध प्रबंध जमा करने की समय सीमा 30 जून 2022 सुनिश्चित की है।
अभाविप की राष्ट्रीय महामंत्री निधि त्रिपाठी ने कहा कि "UGC द्वारा समय सीमा बढ़ाने को लेकर लिया गया निर्णय स्वागतयोग्य तथा शोधार्थियों को राहत देने वाला है। कोरोनाकाल में उत्पन्न हुई विषम परिस्तिथियों में छात्रों को बहुत कठिनाइयों का सामना करना पड़ा है। देश भर के शोधार्थियों को इस निर्णय से राहत मिलेगी एवं शोध को गुणवत्ता के साथ पूर्ण करने का समय मिलेगा।"

Welcome UGC decision to extend submission deadline for research dissertations
Considering the demand of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) in students’ interest owing to the challenging times of COVID-19, the decision of University Grants Commission (UGC) to give additional 6 months for dissertation submission to the final year research scholars is welcome. ABVP had submitted a memorandum to UGC in February demanding an extension of a year. UGC then had given an extension of 6 months. Before the end of the extended period, through the Vice Chancellors of all universities, ABVP had urged the UGC to give relief of additional 6 months to the students. As a result, UGC has taken a decision in the interest of students.
UGC has extended the deadline for submission of dissertations to 30th June 2022.
National General Secretary of ABVP Nidhi Tripathi said, "The decision taken by UGC to extend the time limit is welcome and is a relief to the researchers. Students had to face a lot of difficulties in the challenging circumstances due to the Covid pandemic. Researchers across the country will get relief from this decision, and will get time to complete their research with good quality.”
